If your school owns a FULL SITE LICENSE for one or more of Newbyte's software packages - purchase a Student Home License from us.
When your school purchases through our web site - you will receive a registration number for each program and a school id number. Once you have these you can distribute our software to the students so they can install it on their own computers at home.
Distribution of the software to individuals, institutions or companies not belonging to the school is illegal.
Distribution of the software package in part or in full to anyone not part of the school etc. is against copyright law and must not take place.
Networks
Students must be warned not to distribute the software to anyone and students or the school must not place the software on an unsecured internet site. So much for all the legal stuff.
Our idea is simple - the use of most modern software at school and then at home for homework is usually too complicated or too expensive for most of us teachers to contemplate, however Newbyte has been able to compress our programs so that they can be easily downloaded.
Instead of spending 2, 3 or more periods in the computer lab, just book in for a single period and set the rest of the experiments or projects for homework. For those who don't have a home computer - they can always use the school library computers.
With more and more students getting home computers or laptops think of the teaching possibilities!
